This will be the first of three new blog posts/galleries that will be going up over the next few weeks. These shoots are from a superb few days away in Italy and Switzerland with Jan Baedeker from Classic Driver. Huge thanks to Porsche Switzerland for the loan of the stunning Panamera Sport Turismo, too.

We start here on Wednesday 24th, January. After flying to Zürich the day before, we woke up early to start the drive to Milan - the drive was beautiful, as expected. Couldn't resist a few shots of the Porsche...

On arrival in Milan, we met Guglielmo Miani - the current CEO of 'Larusmiani', a leading textile producer for the Italian Fashion Industry. After our introductions, we followed Mr. Miani to his private garage to drop off the Panamera where we changed cars to something a bit different... Mr. Miani's beautiful 1998 Bentley Turbo RT Mulliner. The rest of the day was spent stopping off a preselected locations to photograph the car and Mr. Miani and ending up at the 'Larusmiani' store. The next day, Jan and I were invited to Mr. Miani's penthouse for lunch - a couple of fascinating hours were enjoyed there listening to stories and photographing inside the most amazing house. The living room was particularly impressive, with a motorbike that was owned by Mr. Miani's Father to an original Autodelta Tipo 33 body on the wall!
